Here’s another smoothie I’ve been making quite a lot. Don’t get frightened by the color of this smoothie because it tastes nothing like a green smoothie even though it’s packed with vegetables and other good stuff. The lemon in particular helps detox your system while the orange adds a nice punch of bacteria-fighting antioxidants.
60g spinach (2 large handfuls)
100g (ripe) pear
40g orange juice, freshly squezzed
40g frozen banana chunks
20g lemon juice (or just whole lemon)
1 tsp cinnamon
Blens everything together. Adjust with water if too thick.
One large glass (350 ml), at 136 kcal.
